We Think Angelo Can
Support Angelo's Curly Hair Extravaganza Campaign while helping homeless youth
Goal
For every $100 I raise for At the Crossroads I will let my hair grow out for another week. At the end of the time (i.e. when I no longer get more donations) I will cut it all off and donate it to charity. Simple!
My campaign will start on February 1st and will end once I can no longer raise any more money for At the Crossroads. This is your chance to see how long my hair can get. If I raise $100 I'll cut it after 1 week. If I raise $500 I'll cut it after 5 weeks. If I raise $1000 I'll cut it after 10 weeks. If I raise $10,000 I'll cut it after 100 weeks!!! This could get ridiculous.
My goal is to raise at least $1600 for ATC which would keep my hair growing from February to the end of May. However, like I said, this could go as long as needed.
I chose this goal because
As most of you know, I love having long hair... even if it means people think I'm some sort of hippie. However it always reaches a point where I feel it's way too long and I should cut it and so I'm never able to donate it to charity. Well this is my chance to change it and at the same time help At the Crossroads -- the non-profit that I've volunteered with for nearly 2 years now.
Help me help ATC and cancer patients in need of my beautiful curly locks all in one simple donation!!!
I'm helping because
I've been volunteering with ATC for nearly 2 years because I believe in the work that they do. The staff at ATC are all amazing people and do amazing work. With the hard financial times they have all taken a pay cut but continue to do great things with the homeless youth and young adults of San Francisco. Every penny that you can donate will go directly to helping young people on the street of San Francisco.
Please donate as little or as much as you can.
THANK YOU!!!!
About At The Crossroads
ATC walks the streets of San Francisco, reaching out to homeless youth and young adults on their turf. We work with young people who others have given up on, who would not get help without us. Since we started 10 years ago, we have worked with more than 5,000 youth, helping them build outstanding lives.
