About ATC
ATC walks the streets of San Francisco, reaching out to homeless youth and young adults on their turf. We work with young people who others have given up on, who would not get help without us. Since we started 10 years ago, we have worked with more than 5,000 youth, helping them build outstanding lives.

Goal
I plan to run 500 miles in the 50 days between April 1 and May 20, because as one famous running coach (Bill Squires) has said: "The long run is what puts the tiger in the cat."
10 miles every day is a long haul for a recreational runner like me. My toenails will turn black and blue, my joints will ache, and my skin will chafe. For many of the miles it'll be pouring down rain here in Boston....
