Don't crash.

Goal

I'm gonna ride my bike at least 500 miles for this program. Why? Because I'm a wild animal? Because I don't stop until I get enough? Because guilty feet have got no rhythm? Perhaps. But mostly because I'm excited that you're sponsoring me to do it so we can raise some dough for At The Crossroads.

I chose this goal because

I'm looking forward to this 500 miles. I'm looking forward to it because I'm hopeful that we may actually get a summer and I'll be out there in it. I'm having more fun than ever riding and committing to this number will force me to get out there and make it happen. I'm also really looking forward to it because I'm hoping it will get you motivated to get involved as well. I'll do the riding, you kick down some cash. That way we're both doing some work, we'll both feel good about it and ATC will get some much needed money.

I'm helping because

ATC is out on the streets of San Francisco, helping out homeless youth who need and deserve all the assistance they can get. These folks are in OUR NEIGHBORHOOD helping the kids we see every day and wonder "how's that kid gonna make it?" These are the good people who help them out. They're helping these kids move beyond the streets and reach their goals, and in the process, they're making SF a better town. ATC is 100% privately supported, and relies on the community to keep their work going.

About At The Crossroads

ATC walks the streets of San Francisco, reaching out to homeless youth and young adults on their turf. We work with young people who others have given up on, who would not get help without us. Since we started 13 years ago, we have worked with more than 5,000 youth, helping them build outstanding lives.
