Goal
My goal is to Read a book every night to my daughter Niah(3yrs old) and my son Isaiah(2months)
I chose this goal because
I chose this goal because I want to develop a love for reading in both of my kids. After a long day of work, then chasing after a 3yr old and feeding, burping and changing a 2 month old it's easy to put off reading and just hit the sack. I'm making reading nightly my campaign as extra incentive to take the 15 to 20 minutes that it takes and I know will benefit them both for a lifetime
I'm helping because
I have worked with ATC for close to four years now. I had been an Outreach Counselor for the majority of that time. I recently changed positions to the Community Resource Coordinator. I am as excited and proud as ever to work for ATC and to be a part of what I feel is a great organization, doing amazing work. I've been fortunate to get to work with young people with a tremendous capacity to change, grow, smile and laugh despite their personal hardships! I'm helping because I believe our clients and the community deserve the support of At The Crossroads
About At The Crossroads
ATC walks the streets of San Francisco, reaching out to homeless youth and young adults on their turf. We work with young people who others have given up on, who would not get help without us. Since we started 10 years ago, we have worked with more than 5,000 youth, helping them build outstanding lives.
