Support I [HE][A][RT] ATC while helping homeless youth
Goal
My goal is to lose 20 lbs and make five art pieces in six months.
I chose this goal because
[HE][A]LTH... I've been challenged with staying in good shape for quite some time -- as the years have passed, progressive weight gain and sedentary living have become normal for me. Now is the time to try and get back to a healthier place and this could be the motivation I need!!
[A][RT]... I've always enjoyed doodling, drawing, writing, cutting, pasting, and giving the few and random things I've made away. It's easy to accumulate art supplies and strengthen my out of sight out of mind talent, but being regularly productive is a stretch. Perhaps by getting in the routine of making new stuff, I might be able to keep myself going after the campaign...
At the end of the six months, I'll put the names of all donors in my Red Sox hat and will mail the winners the completed art pieces.

I'm helping because
My wife Kelly is a former volunteer, Outreach Counselor and Program Manager for At The Crossroads. Over the years I learned more about the work ATC does and the positive impact it makes on youth and young adults. Helping ensure that ATC's incredible work and services continue to serve a very deserving population while fulfilling my own selfish needs is a perfect combo!
About At The Crossroads
ATC walks the streets of San Francisco, reaching out to homeless youth and young adults on their turf. We work with young people who others have given up on, who would not get help without us. Since we started 10 years ago, we have worked with more than 5,000 youth, helping them build outstanding lives.
