We Think Jennifer Can
Support Jennifer's Anti-Junk Food Junkie Campaign while helping homeless youth
Goal
I Think I Can cut out a lot of junk food from my life, if even for a few months!! As some of you know, I love chocolate and cookies and cake and pretty much everything bad for me!
I promise to swear off as much unhealthy foods as is unwholesome for me, for the rest of the year. These foods include candy, (yes, including chocolate), cookies, cake, pie, chips and last but not least, fast food! I believe there is a healthy balance.
I promise to take responsibility for my health and to eat healthier versions of the food choices I now make…. if and when I do indulge.
I THINK I CAN cut desserts and junk food out of my life for at least six days a week until summer.
I THINK I CAN . . . . . . Raise at least $2000 for At The Crossroads!
Please help!
For your generosity, let me do something for you. If you donate:
$25 – I will send you a handmade “thank you” card
$50 – I will bake you a dozen chocolate chip cookies (and not eat any) plus make you a handmade “thank you” card
$100 – I will send you a CD with my favorite songs plus make you a handmade “thank you” card
$250 – I will help you with your choice of one of the following (house-sitting, dog sitting, or babysitting) OR two of the options above
$500 – I will donate 10 volunteer hours to your favorite charity AND do two of the options above
$1000 – I will do just about anything you ask! Within reason.
Of course, times are tough and anything you can give will help and if you cannot donate money, your encouragement is always welcome!
And there is always the option of you joining the campaign! It's easy, just ask me how... or go here: http://www.atthecrossroads.org/campaign/index.php
Thank you!
I chose this goal because
I chose this goal because it is one of my greatest challenges.
And knowing you are out there encouraging me (and praying for me, haha), and that I am helping such a fantastic organization will encourage ME to eat healthy.
I'm helping because
At The Crossroads is an important part of San Francisco teens and youth. I love San Francisco and if we don’t help the teenagers and young adults, what will become of this wonderful city?
I am helping because some kids, unlike my daughter who is 20, don’t get the wonderful opportunities like a wonderful family, a roof over their head, a decent meal, and an education.
About At The Crossroads
ATC walks the streets of San Francisco, reaching out to homeless youth and young adults on their turf. We work with young people who others have given up on, who would not get help without us. Since we started 10 years ago, we have worked with more than 5,000 youth, helping them build outstanding lives.
