We Think Julie Can
Support Julie's Campaign while helping homeless youth
Goal
I’ve been accused of being organized – a bit anal some have said – and I admit that this is true, but I have a confession:
I have photos. A LOT of photos. And they are loose all over my house. Martha Stewart would be horrified! I’ve made attempts to organize them over the years, but there is something about pictures that keeps my type-A personality from actually placing them into albums.
My goal is simple – get the %$*#! photos out of boxes and into (i) frames, (ii) albums, or (iii) the fire pit.
I chose this goal because
So, why am I doing this? Organizing photos won’t help me lose weight. And it certainly won’t set me up to achieve some awe-inspiring feat that no person has ever achieved before. The truth is it will restore peace in my marriage. You see, we don’t have a garage so storage space is at a premium in our closets. Given that the boxes of photos and frames displaying pictures of random people instead of our own family are taking up five shelves in a single closet, I don’t really blame Michael for complaining.
AND
If you donate between $1 and $49, I won’t tag you in an embarrassing photo on Facebook.
If you donate between $50 and $149, I won’t mail to you the “accidental” photos that my mom took of Abigail’s birth. Too bad I couldn’t spare the poor guy at the Castro photo shop!
If you donate $150+, I’ll mail you the negatives of your improper and/or illegal acts.
If you don’t donate, the negatives will be mailed to your parents.
I'm helping because
I am doing this for the youth living on the streets of San Francisco. Most of these young people aren’t there by choice but rather by a series of unfortunate circumstances that, hopefully, you and I will never have to live through. With the support and care that ATC provides, many homeless youth are being given the opportunity to build outstanding lives, not just lives of subsistence. And I have the pleasure of seeing this happening every week that I volunteer in their office. I hope you will join me in supporting this amazing organization by donating to my campaign.

About At The Crossroads
ATC walks the streets of San Francisco, reaching out to homeless youth and young adults on their turf. We work with young people who others have given up on, who would not get help without us. Since we started 10 years ago, we have worked with more than 5,000 youth, helping them build outstanding lives.
