Beth's Hike
Sponsor Beth's Hike up Mt. Tam while helping homeless youth
I'm hiking because
Nomadic Nature Sangha is a spinoff of the East Bay Meditation Center, located in downtown Oakland. EBMC is one of the most diverse and accessible meditation centers in the world. It is the only one in the country (as far as I know) that offers classes and groups on a dana or "generosity" basis - no fees charged for anything at any time.
Both EBMC and ATC prioritize genuine love for the members of the community. This team includes anyone from EBMC or Nature Sangha who might be interested in getting to know ATC!
I love hiking with Nature Sangha, I love ATCs work, and I thought this would be a great opportunity to bring some wonderful people together.
About At The Crossroads
ATC walks the streets of San Francisco, reaching out to homeless youth and young adults on their turf. We work with young people who others have given up on, who would not get help without us. Since we started 13 years ago, we have worked with more than 5,000 youth, helping them build outstanding lives.
