On July 15th, 2018, At The Crossroads is hosting our ninth annual Summer SunDay Hike for Homeless Youth! Summer SunDay is a half-day fundraising hike up to the East Peak of Mount Tamalpais, and it’s a great way for old and new Bay Area residents to feel a connection to their home. You’ll enjoy an awesome hike, take in some gorgeous views, and eat lots of delicious food. You’ll also get to bask in the glow of knowing that you’re raising vital support for ATC’s work with homeless youth in San Francisco. We hope you will join us for a fun-filled day!
Participating in Summer SunDay is easier than ever! You have the option of hiking as an individual or creating a team. Signing up takes less than five minutes—then you create your fundraising page and let your family, friends, and community members know that you’re hiking! We also provide hikers with all the tools they need to reach out to their communities and raise funds for ATC.
Summer SunDay has long been a favorite tradition at ATC because it’s a fun day in the sun and brings in crucial support for our work with homeless youth. It introduces new people to our organization, and gets more people excited about At The Crossroads. Summer SunDay is also a nice way for us to show appreciation for our amazing community members and all the wonderful things they do for us!
Perhaps most importantly, Summer SunDay is ATC’s biggest fundraiser of the year! The money raised allows us to provide long-term, unconditional support to young people on the streets of San Francisco. In 2017 our Summer SunDay hikers raised $115,000 to support our work—and in 2018 we’re hoping to raise $150,000!
We’d love to see you on Mount Tam this July, and hope you’ll join us. Summer SunDay is a fantastic opportunity to take care of our community here in the Bay Area and have a fun day with the ATC community!
