At The Crossroads would not be where it is today without the loyal support of our donors. In 20 years of operation, we’ve received over $4 million from over 2,000 individuals, the majority of whom live locally, but many of whom live across the United States and even abroad.

Ann Hughes and Loren Taylor are both longtime supporters of At The Crossroads’ work. Not only do Ann and Loren regularly donate to ATC, but each of them has been an ambassador of ATC to their communities, spreading the word about our work and garnering support from their friends and family.
“I think the power in that is the fact that homelessness—the challenges that ATC is really here to address—it is personal. It is close to home. It’s not this problem that is way over there and we’re doing something to help folks that we’re not connected to.” -Loren Taylor, At The Crossroads supporter
Most recently, both Ann and Loren were on ATC’s Building Home Campaign Committee (pictured above!); Loren served as the committee’s co-chair. They helped us successfully raise $4.1 million for the construction of our new, long-term home and the expansion of our programmatic capacity.
We sat down with Ann and Loren to learn more about their connection to At The Crossroads’ work with homeless youth in San Francisco—and they both agreed: it’s personal.
